Last Updated: June 1, 2026
1. Introduction

1.1 Acceptance
- By accessing or using the Platform to book beauty services in Korea, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
- If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our Platform.
2. Eligibility
You may only use our Services if you have the legal capacity to form a binding contract and comply with these Terms. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
2.1 Age and Legal Capacity
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Platform.
- By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet the age requirement.
- Minors may use the Platform only under the direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts full responsibility for compliance with these Terms.
2.2 Account and Data Principle
- Authentication: You may access the Platform via email registration or third-party social login (e.g., Google).
- Identity Policy: We operate as a booking intermediary and do not perform official real-name verification against government databases. Users are responsible for the accuracy of the profile data provided.
- Privacy Reference: All personal data provided during booking or account creation is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which governs the collection, storage, and protection of your information.
2.3 Communication Responsibility
- Official requests for cancellation, refund, or rescheduling must be submitted through the designated channels (Contact Page or Official Email). Requests sent via social media DMs or personal contacts are not considered official communications.
- You must provide and maintain a valid email address to receive booking confirmations, updates, and important notices.
- We are not liable for any issues arising from incorrect, outdated, or inaccessible contact information you provide.
2.4 Right to Refuse or Terminate Access
- We reserve the right to refuse registration or terminate access to any user at our sole discretion, including for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or misuse of the Platform.
3. Platform Role and Service Model
We provide a venue for users to discover and book services from independent providers. We do not provide beauty treatments ourselves and are not responsible for the actual service delivery.
3.1 Intermediary Role
- Seoul Beauty Global is an online marketplace connecting international customers with independent beauty professionals and businesses in Korea.
3.2 Independent Contract
- The contract for services is strictly between you and the Service Provider; we are not a party to this contract.
3.3 Limitation of Responsibility
- We do not guarantee the performance, results, or safety of services provided by the Service Providers.
- We are not a medical institution, referral service, or healthcare provider. We do not diagnose, recommend, or provide medical advice. All choices are made at the user's sole discretion.
3.4 Scope of Platform Involvement
- Seoul Beauty Global's role is limited to facilitating the discovery and reservation of beauty services and processing the deposit payment at the time of booking.
- The provision of services and any payment made directly between you and the Service Provider at the time of appointment — including the remaining balance after the deposit — fall outside the Platform's scope of responsibility. Seoul Beauty Global is not liable for any disputes, non-payment, or disagreements arising from such on-site transactions.
4. Permitted and Prohibited Use
To ensure a safe and functional environment, you agree not to use our Platform for any purpose other than its intended use.
4.1 Prohibited Activities
- Using automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access, crawl, or harvest data from the Platform.
- Reselling any bookings, vouchers, or services obtained via the Platform to third parties.
- Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information during the booking process.
- Engaging in any activities that interfere with the Platform's security or technical infrastructure.
5. Intellectual Property
We own all rights to the Platform's design, text, and graphics. Your use of the Platform does not grant you ownership of any content you access.
5.1 Ownership
- All content, logos, trademarks, and intellectual property on Seoul Beauty Global are owned by us or our licensors.
5.2 Restrictions
- You may not use, modify, distribute, or reproduce any part of the Platform's content without prior written permission.
6. User Content and Reviews
Your feedback helps our community. By posting content, you grant us the right to use it, but you remain responsible for the accuracy of your submissions.
6.1 Review Guidelines
- Submission: You may post honest reviews based on your genuine experiences.
- License: By submitting content, you grant us a royalty-free, perpetual license to display your content on the Platform.
- Moderation: We reserve the right to remove or edit content that is fraudulent, defamatory, or violates our guidelines.
6.2 Rewards and Incentives
- Review Rewards: We may, at our sole discretion, offer credits, rewards, or physical gifts/items to users who submit reviews, subject to specific event notices.
- Operational Discretion: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any reward programs or testing of business models related to incentives at any time without prior notice.
- Anti-Abuse: Fraud or abuse of the reward system will result in the immediate forfeiture of such incentives.
7. Search Results and Sort Order
We provide transparent sorting tools to help you find beauty services based on your preferences, but we reserve the right to determine the presentation and ranking of results.
7.1 Algorithm and Sort Order
- Customization: Users may use sorting and filter settings to adapt search results based on price, popularity, or reviews.
- Platform Rights: The default sort order and ranking algorithms are determined by the Platform and may be updated or tested at our sole discretion.
8. Booking and Payment
All bookings are subject to availability and the specific terms set by the Service Provider. For bookings made on or after June 1, 2026, a deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm the reservation. The remaining balance is paid directly to the Service Provider at the time of appointment.
8.1 Booking Process
- Payment: Online bookings are processed through the Platform's standard checkout using the available payment methods. Manual bookings — reservations arranged directly with the Seoul Beauty Global support team rather than through the online booking flow — are processed via direct transfer to Seoul Beauty Global's designated foreign currency bank account or PayPal account.
- Confirmation: A booking is finalized only when the Service Provider accepts the request and a confirmation email is sent to the user.
- Deposit Requirement: For bookings made on or after June 1, 2026, a deposit must be paid through the Platform at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due directly to the Service Provider upon completion of the service.
8.2 Deposit Structure
The deposit amount is calculated in Korean Won (KRW). The applicable amount depends on the type of service and its listed price, and the exact deposit is displayed on each service page before checkout. Where a booking includes multiple services, deposits are calculated per service and totaled.
The deposit amount displayed at the time of booking is the binding amount for that reservation.
8.3 Pricing and Currency
- Deposit currency: Although deposit amounts are denominated in KRW, they are charged in US Dollars (USD) using the daily exchange rate applicable on the date of booking. As a result, the USD amount charged for the deposit may vary depending on when the booking is made.
- Remaining balance: The remaining balance is paid directly to the Service Provider at the time of the appointment. The currency of the on-site payment (KRW or USD) is agreed upon between you and the Service Provider and is outside the scope of the Platform.
- Exchange rate risk: Seoul Beauty Global is not liable for (i) fluctuations in the daily KRW/USD exchange rate that affect the USD equivalent of your deposit, or (ii) any exchange rate differences that may arise between the deposit payment date and the date of your on-site payment. Any additional fees charged by your bank or card issuer are your sole responsibility.
8.4 On-Site Payment
- The Platform does not process, record, or guarantee the payment of the remaining balance. The payment transaction between you and the Service Provider at the time of appointment constitutes an independent commercial arrangement to which Seoul Beauty Global is not a party.
- Seoul Beauty Global is not liable for any disputes, refusals, or disagreements arising from the on-site payment between you and the Service Provider.
9. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations affect the livelihoods of Service Providers. Our refund policy balances user flexibility with provider protection based on Korea Standard Time (KST).
9.1 Refund Schedule
- 3+ Days Before: 100% Refund of the deposit amount.
- 2 Days Before: 80% Refund of the deposit amount.
- 1 Day Before: 50% Refund of the deposit amount.
- Same Day / No-Show: No Refund.
9.2 Processing Details
- Exceptions: We may grant exceptions for medical emergencies, natural disasters, or major travel disruptions (e.g., flight cancellations) with valid documentation. Issues related to passports, visas, or travel documents remain the sole responsibility of the user and are not eligible for refund exceptions.
- Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method or original source of funds in USD. Refunds will be issued based on the exact USD amount originally charged at the time of booking, regardless of any exchange rate fluctuations that may have occurred since the transaction date.
For more details, please refer to the full Cancellation and Refund Policy.
10. Health and Safety
Beauty treatments involve physical contact and chemical products. You are responsible for ensuring your own safety through proper disclosure.
10.1 Disclosure Duty
- Mandatory Disclosure: You are solely responsible for disclosing any allergies, medical conditions, or skin sensitivities directly to the Service Provider before the service begins.
- Health Data: We do not actively collect or monitor medical data, but may store health-related information voluntarily provided by the user in booking notes or support messages.
10.2 Disclaimer
- Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that beauty and clinic procedures carry inherent risks. Seoul Beauty Global is not a party to any medical or aesthetic agreement under these Terms and is not liable for clinical outcomes or complications.
11. Passports, Visas, and Entry Documents
You are solely responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents and visas required to enter the Republic of Korea.
11.1 Travel Requirements
- User Responsibility: It is the sole responsibility of the user to ensure they possess valid travel documents, including passports and visas, required to enter Korea.
- No Liability: Seoul Beauty Global is not responsible for any inability to use services due to entry refusals or document issues.
12. Termination of Service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at our sole discretion to protect our community and business integrity.
12.1 Suspension and Termination
- We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms or engage in illegal activities.
- Access may be restricted without prior notice if we suspect security threats, fraudulent payments, or excessive no-shows.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Seoul Beauty Global harmless from any legal claims or damages arising from your use of the Platform.
13.1 Your Obligations
- You agree to indemnify and hold Seoul Beauty Global harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your violation of these Terms or inappropriate behavior toward Service Providers.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we strictly limit our financial liability to you to ensure the sustainability of our Platform.
14.1 Financial Limits
- Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the deposit amount actually paid by you to the Platform for the specific booking that gave rise to such claim. Seoul Beauty Global assumes no financial liability in relation to any remaining balance or other amounts paid directly to the Service Provider.
14.2 Specific Disclaimers
- Excluded Damages: We are not liable for indirect, incidental, medical, or consequential damages.
- Direct Provision: We are not responsible for disputes arising from your direct provision of sensitive data to Service Providers.
15. Communication Security
You are responsible for your own data security and agree not to share sensitive financial information or identity documents via unencrypted Platform messaging.
15.1 Advisory
- Data Safety: For your protection, do not share sensitive financial information (such as credit card numbers) or personal identification through Platform messaging or booking notes.
- Platform Security: While we implement industry-standard security measures, users are encouraged to use secure networks and maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials.

- Public health emergencies (pandemics, epidemics, government lockdowns).
