I recently visited Eco Jardin Coex for the viral 18-step scalp spa and it completely exceeded my expectations. The entire treatment lasted for 90 minutes, and not only was it super relaxing, but I could genuinely see and feel the results right away. From the oiling and deep cleansing to the massages and steam sauna, every step felt amazing. After the treatment, my scalp felt deeply cleansed and was noticeably less red and sensitive. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and they even styled my hair beautifully at the end. Highly recommend if you want to give your scalp some love and have a relaxing time!

Now that I have had some time to really think about what I want to write in my review, here is my honest review. I want to give it a lower rating, but because of the friendliness and hardworking nature of my stylist and my mom's, I do not want to. Regarding whether I feel I really got the value for what I paid, I am negative. 1. The scalp scanner was not working, and there were a limited number of scanners. Due to the lack of scanners, we had to take turns scanning and felt the whole process was rushed or entirely omitted. Felt like I was in a factory, then pushed into the next cycle. Talk about being overbooked--there were many clients that day, and everyone was running around. 2. My stylist seemed to be very overbooked and did not even know that I was getting a haircut after the treatment. What was anticipated to be a 2-hour or so visit turned out to be 3 hours, and we got to the salon at 3 and came back to the hotel by 7. My mom and I were exhausted. As for the haircut, I am neither unhappy nor happy with it. The stylist did not seem very experienced, nor did they have the time to handle and juggle so many clients at once. It's a shame, as I am a Korean (but foreigner, as living abroad) myself and have had many haircuts in Korea, where it was very affordable compared to back home, but this one was a little disappointing. The million-dollar question: is it worth it? I am not sure. In the pictures, it did its job. It was relaxing, and it felt nice. But it took too long, and we felt overlooked half the time, and it was rushed. It felt more like a marketing scheme, and I regret taking the bait advertised on Instagram or by other influencers. Compared to how they make it seem, it is not equivalent to that, and they seem to target foreigners—as they should, since locals know what reasonable prices would be for the service provided. It was a wake-up call for me not to believe too many things on social media or to be convinced to do things that may look or seem nice. At the end of the day, you want to pay for something that makes you happy and feel satisfied, and neither my mom nor I felt that way. My suggestion to them is that they should not overbook their clients and also train their employees so they can give their clients the satisfaction they need, especially since you can't even go back to amend things due to how tight our schedules are as people who do not live here.

I booked the 18-step hair treatment at Eco Jardin Coex Samsung and it whole experience was just 🤯🤯🤯….it felt meticulous and intentional, not gimmicky. You can actually see the difference in the before and after of the scalp. It speaks for itself. The treatment was deeply relaxing without feeling superficial. There was cleansing, massage, treatment, red light, steam and just all sorts I swear. I’ve never come across anything quite like this in Europe or the US. My scalp and hair FEELS noticeably lighter and healthier. The staff were warm, professional, and very good at explaining what they were doing. I ended up adding a hair mask and a cut because it made sense in the moment. No pressure, but I don’t live here and it’s not every day I get to experience this. For reference, the 18-step treatment was 200,000 won (around £100). With the mask and haircut, I spent roughly another £120. It is absolutely worth it.

We got three haircuts and one 18 step scalp treatment. First time in korea, we only speak english. We loved the treatment we got. The service was top notch. Loved every bit of it.. our cousin got scared cuz she had very long hair and curly but the way the stylist Harin consoled her and she also made sure she felt good. Also the haircut she gave her was soooooo good.. i attached a picture see for yourself. Also we recommend stylist Seo woo too..
