20u Hair Salon

I did the Korean big wave hair perm yesterday. It was absolutely impressive amazing with nice curl and service. Thanks Mr.Kim for the great service and hospitality at the hair Salon. He is very professional and have well English communication. The hair salon was clean, have the massage chair while you are doing the hair wash. Its location is good closed to the mrt station. Before the appointment date - during the booking arrangement, it was well and fast response in English with all details you needed. Highly recommended especially for foreigners who would like to try hairdo in Seoul.

I had the best experience here at 20u hair salon! The studio is nice and clean, the whole experience felt calm and relaxing from the hair wash to cut and styling. John, who did my hair, has been very meticulous and detail oriented, he did the exact cut that I wanted and it was even better than my inspo picture… loved it! He speaks English and he’s very nice. I would definitely come back!

BEST balayage/ombre in Seoul!!! This is my favorite hair salon now and I want to give a huge shout out to 김종순원장님 (Mr. Jong-Sun “John” Kim)! I am from the States and I loved his balayage highlight so much that I ended up finding him again to get my hair done! During the second visit, he helped blend highlights with my gray hair, which I decided to grow not too long ago. It looks so natural and I love it!! Mr. Kim is very friendly, excellent at what he does, and I can’t compliment him enough. If you need balayage, ombre, perm, cut, or any hair service - he is your person!! :) The photos with black/gray background are my first visit and the photos with window views are from my second visit. Highly recommend!!

I just got a digital heat perm done at 20U Hair Salon and had the best experience! The stylist spoke English and was so thorough, careful, and sweet throughout the whole process. They really took the time to understand what I wanted and never tried to oversell anything, which I really appreciated. The results turned out amazing I was so happy with how my hair looked! On top of that, the salon atmosphere was super comfortable and welcoming. They even provided snacks and drinks, which was such a nice touch. Everything felt professional yet relaxed. The pricing was very fair for the quality of service. Overall, I had an incredible experience here and would highly recommend this salon when in Hongdae area.

I’ve never had my hair permed before and looked up so many places, but chose to get my hair done here with Jong-soon. Him and his staff are so professional and kind. He walked me through what he was doing and how to maintain my perm after. My mom also got her haircut but another staff member and is also very happy with her hair. I highly recommend getting your hair done at this salon as they are very attentive to details! Thank you so much for a great experience!
